Depressed...
sigh.... i'm depressed....out of course and out of mood... a combat fit soldier suffering from fractured toe and doing admin work in the office is some kind of a insult to me.... i admit that i've been wishing this when i was training in Tekong.... but now that i've gone thru 3 days of admin work, i am BORED.... i need to go out there and do some training... becos i can feel my muscles and knees becoming rusty day by day....i've was posted to 30th SCE (Singapore Combat Engineers) as a Plant Operator... it's a vocation no one will know what it is about until u enlist.... true enough, i only understand after my superiors explained...Plant Operators operate machineries which dig soil.... should be the slackiest among the combat engineers...but now that i'm out of course, i'll probably be posted to somewhere.... and i'm still waiting for my posting to arrive...
The 1st week in 30th SCE is kind of a culture shock to me and those privates who've done their BMT(Basic Military Training) in Tekong.... cos the facilities and training system is completely different from Tekong and the training instructors are more harsh towards trainees during training hours....
i've met many different kind of pple in my unit, naggy ones, reserved ones, playful ones, responsible ones, civilized ones, uncivilized ones, complaining ones.... it's a library of different type of characters in there...fortunately for me, my new buddy is one of the civilized ones and likes to read books before going to bed... i'm just hoping that i'll get to meet people like my new buddy when i get posted to other units....
