today is good...
been hanging around at home almost whole day...till i went to the esplanade with mum and dad for some delivery thingy...after that went to Golden Mile Complex for some Hainanese Chicken Rice!! yummie!!
meet up with junqiang and yongtin at sim lim complex soon after... we walked around sim lim and decided to buy controllers for pc gaming... thought we found a rather good deal --> $28 for a pair of controllers!!
turns out....? the 2 controllers are connected...intention was to buy 2 separate controllers...haiz...our fault for never checking with the boss first before buying...
we split up at evening time cos each of us has our programmes...i'm going to granny's place for dinner, junqiang going for basketball game, yongtin rushing home to try out his new controllers...
drove sis and myself to granny's place for dinner and after that, drove my mum to the shops to do some account stuffs... after we closed the shops, we picked up sis and 3 of us went to Changi for some supper!!(all these time, dad was sleeping soundly in his room...) hehe...
tmr gotta meet up with kiansiong and other guys + gals for our Once In A Blue Moon outing.... nicole pulled out cos she couldn't stand the sun...no wonder if chris will be going....as for the rest, i duno anything! haha....
ok, it's VERY late now...just finished playing Fifa 2005 using my new controllers, SHIOK! haha....
ciaoz...
today....
had a rather hectic day today... first Hepatitis B screening, followed by some FFI medical checkup thingy.... then had to help to act as casualty for the people taking the CPR test....
experienced the "skills" of the medics who drew our blood today..... some of them missed the veins, some couldn't find the vein to inject the needle... fortunately for mine, that medic didn't miss...but he could only draw abit of my blood with some air bubbles too... 1 word to describe ---> LOUSY!
anyway... just received my POSB DEBIT card today...SOOO HAPPY!!! well...it doesn't look very nice, but i think i can make do with it, afterall it's FREE for 2 yrs.....
heard this wonderful song today ----> Luo Zhi Xiang - Xiao Chou Yu
this is a nice and sad song...really describes that familiar feeling i've been trying to hide for the past few wks... MUST request for this song when i go for karaoke the next time!! hehe...
alrighty...getting late~ still gotta wake up early for my course briefing...
that's all for now~!
ciaoz!
The BLUES of monday...
monday.....as people always say, makes every single working person feeling blue becos it's the end of 2 crazy offdays and the start of the 5 days which one has to get buried in lotsa work....
NS...even though isn't exactly a job, couldn't prevent the invasion of the "blues" virus into the camps... and when i entered the administration office of my new camp this morning, i could see that the "blue" virus was here....
had a really slack day today...
the last time i blogged was exactly this day a month ago...sat also...MAN! really forgot to blog...this 1 month in Jurong camp hasn't been quite the same as 2 months ago.. partly because my ex-platoonmates has become official MEN and the treatment is different from when they were trainees. Our individual postings came, and without any clue why, mine was the last to arrive and i am gonna be posted to Nee Soon Camp to train to be a Combat Medic. Well i was delighted to see that i'm finally leaving this god forsaken camp but at the same time, sad that i had to abandon this close relationship that i've built with many pple in the camp during my 3 month stay and start building another new relationship in my new camp. However, as the chinese saying goes, "there's no party in the world that doesn't ends..."
so i said farewell to those buddies in Jurong camp yesterday before i load all my stuffs onto my dad's car and watch myself going further and further away from the camp for the last time....
i met my buddy this afternoon for a farewell lunch at Outback restaurant and both of us wish each other all the best in our next 1 and a 1/2 yrs of NS liability...
hm...Monday will be a new chapter of my life in army and i really look forward to it, despite all the scary information that i'll be going face to face with needles, first experimenting on myself, then on other fellow medic trainees.... mum was rather glad that i'm in medic cos she thinks that i would be able to use my skills when accidents happen...haha!
alright...almost time to end the blog now, gonna go granny's hse for dinner(as usual) and go down to katong to buy the chocolate ice-cream i've been craving for a long time!!!
ciaoz...
