did not get her any present, nor get her any cards...just a short sentence of birthday greetings... pathetic.... perhaps this is all i could do...
finally got my pink ic on the 18th.. got to experience my FIRST no-worries wkend in 2 yrs... dun have to worry about forgetting to return back to camp.... all i need to think about was, "what am i going to do tmr when i wake up?"
have been helping my mum with her catering service recently...it's not that i dun wanna find a job outside, but i feel that since she needs someone to help her cook and deliver along with my dad, i can jolly well fit in and solve their problems... the sad thing is that i do not get paid, but this is how my family works and this is how i've been brought up... so this is probably the reason why i never take money matters into heart...
i've seen pple who are very calculative and would argue or quarrel over 50 cents or $1, eventually ruining the friendship... deep down i feel that it is stupid, however, i still gotta respect it becos everyone was brought up differently....
went to watch Lee Hom's concert last night with ks, chris and her bf...(the concert was AWESOME! it just so happens that chris and her bf was there to watch the concert too)... then met up with the rest of our cliques and had a pretty lengthy chat at the esplanade...i am probably guilty of being their party-pooper cos i had to leave just when they decided to go for a late night supper.... was told later after i left that they abandoned supper and ended the gathering. Makes me wonder if it is really my fault...(oops!)
didn't meet up with cherry today as planned cos i realise i couldn't accompany her long enough for shopping( had to celebrate my grandma's birthday), thus we decided to meet another day...
we had a very sumptuous steamboat dinner and we had 2 ice-cream cakes for dessert.. uncle andy made them specially for grandma's birthday(1 is grandma's favourite yam ice-cream, another is chocolate peanut buttercup! yum! yum!). Next up is grandpa's birthday, can't wait to see what ice-cream cake we'll be having...
Alright!!! Arsenal really made my week with their splendid performance against Reading(probably becos i was wearing the jersey all day long?)...it's been a while since i see a 4-0 scoreline from arsenal ever since the last game at highbury against wigan... i still long for the days during their unbeaten season when they always thrash their opponentswith 3 to 4 goals within half an hour... i hope such days would come more often soon....
anyway, i'm glad that this wk, i do not have the MONDAY BLUES anymore!! haha...
