Long Weekend!
Wonderful long weekend i've had this week! been slacking at home all the time and spending time with my mom....she's so glad that i stayed home...hehe...anyway... time passes really fast....9 weeks has gone and i've successfully passed out my medic course(official day is wed actually..). I recalled what my course commander said on friday, asking if anyone of us is not ready to wear the Cross Emblem, assume the role of the medic and help anyone who might get injured... i remembered that i froze for awhile asking the same question to myself, "AM I READY TO BE A MEDIC?"
it's easy to tell yourself that u are ready, but i'm sure everyone of us are definitely not ready...but it doesn't mean that we won't be able to perform our duties... we just need some time to accept that huge responsibility of being able to save/help someone when he/she is hurt....
sometimes i do wonder if really many things in this world are fated? i used to wonder how nice it is to be a medic during my recruit period in Tekong... i remembered i was all the time wondering if i have a chance to be a medic...when my posting came, i was disappointed...however, thru a twist of fate, i got injured before i even reported to the new camp, this injury caused me to be reposted.....to be medic!
so...now...i can't help but wonder.....if things are really fated in this world, will i be posted back to Tekong as a medic, where it all started? hm.. we'll see...
chatted with joycelyn just now, so glad that she's alright and probably leading a fulfilling life now.... the conversation was short....as usual...but i managed to end it this time...
managed to get in contact with yanne this morning....after losing contact for GOD-KNOWS how many months, i finally got to keep in contact with her...will probably call her again later in the day to chat again....
alright...time to go sleep now!
