lazy week

pretty lazy this week....finally gonna move to a new bunk on monday.... looking forward to that....
stupid OC started to make all of us run SOC on Mon/Wed/Fri.... before we go for our test on the 9th Dec... i'm just gonna fail on that i swear...haha...no way do i have the criterias to pass....

anyway will be going back to camp pretty soon later...looks like i could only blog every weekend.... had a pretty busy wkend this wk...so dragged till now... lolz

went to watch Harry Potter - Globet of Fire on friday night ALONE....so damn boring and almost everyone i know have watched it except me..so no choice but to watch alone... went to the net and book...it's so convenient nowadays with the technology so advanced...plus my lovely debit card...i'm pretty sure i'll never get a credit card if the debit card works as equally global as the credit card...i like the way it deducts my $$ now so i dun have any debts...I HATE DEBTS!

went out with nic/tailin/davin and luqiang on sat night, went NYDC for some nice cheesecakes + ice-cream and then to Mac(outside chinablack) for some get-together chat....hadn't had nice chats with them for awhile....looks like everyone's doing pretty well at the moment and all of us are in the same problem....UNIVERSITY.... i'm almost probably gonna go to australia with nic next yr if i really do get a place in University of Queensland... esther is already there showing me the path that i would take if i were to go.....and eventually be a Nutritionist!! but nothing has yet to be confirmed cos i've not done any application thingy yet.... so it's still take gonna take some time....hope i managed to have 1 or 2 frens staying together and taking care of each other overseas... feels scary to be alone....

went to Chinghui's hse in sengkang today to have a facial wash...it was FUN and amazing... i'm gonna be her practice target for her beauty lessons and receive free facial wash + mask and everything now and again when both of us are free!! WHOPPEE!!!
it really felt weird today(felt like almost gonna fall in love with her) when i was in her hse, lying on her sofa and with her hands touching my face....it's the first time any girl touches my face and for more than an hour..... it really felt special alright....but probably just gonna be this far... haha~ remembered she once said that she might not consider having any bfs yet cos she seems to have put career before her,(like what many girls do nowadays and sad to say i was a victim of this trend!) thus......u know...

ok..gonna go sleep!! just saw on TV, Real Madrid lost.... they suck...anyway Arsenal won!! YEAH~~ haha...

continued from......???

there's been negative news splashing around The New Paper regarding the so called hottest blogger babe... sad to say i don't even know who she is until i see her photo on the newspaper...and this has further reinforced the fact that i've been missing out on my blog for a whole 2 months and 5 days!!! this is extremely unforgivable(is there such a word?) for a blogger....but only till now then i realised, i am not a blogger!! i'm just a person who uses a blog to jot down the things that i've done ever since i graduated from a local polytechnic and got enlisted into ARMY..

To be frank though, i have absolutely NIL skills about blogging, not even the meaning of the word!! but the reason behind my decision to start the blog is because i realise that my days seemed to speed past me so easily that i couldn't remember many of the things that have happened to me... and only thru a blog, where i refer to when i'm bored, that i managed to recall some of the beautiful and fun events in my life...

well this is surely enough for a warm-up after 2 months of absence... well... as for the sequence of events after the duty at the medical centre on august 14th, this is it!
First, i went thru 3 weeks of uncertainty before i finally board on the army plane to Brunei for a very sacred and noble mission which i bet the SAF bigshots will thank us for it! i shouldn't go into the details cos it's 46 days of explanation and i believe my blog can't go that far! but to sum it up, basically we did some woodcutter's job there, and as a medically trained personnel, naturally i was there to make sure the guys were well taken care of... fortunately for me, they were able to take care of themselves and i came back with a record of cuts and bruises instead of mutilation of limbs! lolz..
i had to say that the experience in brunei really helped me alot in changing me to what i am now, though my personality hasn't changed much, it surely straightened out my thinking, elevate my tolerance threshold and promote me to the higher world of thinking. i was exposed to difficult times in the jungle and mental torture throughout the whole trip, if not for some of my valuable mates, i wouldn't have made it, so credits to those guys!

After my return, i felt as if this big net that has been trapping me underwater finally gave way and i was back to the surface, breathing a whole new breath of fresh air into my lungs. I felt like a different person ever since... had lotsa plans to enjoy my 2 weeks with my gf, family and frens... but was first greeted by the death of one of our sergeants(went thru brunei with us too) due to a bike accident.. he was one of the excellent achievers in our unit... sad...

then...barely 2 days my gf decided to cool off the relationship with me because she felt that she is too engaged into her 2 jobs that she had no time for me, or rather....not suitable to be in a relationship.... i couldn't handle the impact of 2 bad news at one go and thus, went into solitary confinement(actually is just my room).. i still managed to spend time with my family on steamboats and stuffs but i couldn't lift my spirits enough to enjoy... i was merely entertaining them.....
during the time in the room when i let my thoughts run wild, i was pretty shattered...i couldn't understand why we couldn't juggle work and relationships at the same time when many others are doing it and showing wonderful examples... i kept thinking and thinking and thinking...refusing to mention to anyone else until i finally called my "buddy"(nicole) who managed to show me the way to straighten out my thoughts...
some of our friends had managed to sniff out something fishy about our relationship though nicole kept mum about it, but i wasn't ready to reveal the beans in the bag yet and neither was she, so we keep changing topics whenever we were asked... and then came the trip to taiwan...

the trip was planned earlier when i was still in brunei because my sis needed a holiday badly to relieve stress at work, and i wanted to go somewhere nice to enjoy my time.. thus came taiwan where my whole family animosly agreed to go!! it was also the perfect trip for me to go somewhere far and different so i can push my thinking to a different level, true enough, the atmosphere was perfect and i got what i want at the end of the day... i found the reason to maintain positive and keep myself going...
the taiwan trip was mostly eat and shop, and also to really open our eyes to see the REAL kinda life the taiwanese are living, instead of watching the taiwanese drama and wondering if it really do happen in real life taiwan... it is really a shopping paradise for no matter a male or a female cos they have really wide variety of stuffs parading down the streets... it was the many night markets in Taipei and KaoHsiung that really made us spent so much time there..
according to the food menu that nicole gave me, i almost ate all of them except for the few which i would leave it till my next trip to complete it... we were greeted with warm gestures from one of my mum's hongkong "sisters" who was staying at KaoHsiung due to her husband's overseas work attachment. With their help we saved ourselves lotsa trouble getting to the local hotspots and thus, enjoying ourself with food and souvenirs again, this time my mum was lucky to coincide with one of her favourite dialect singer's autograph session and i willingly take a photo with him on my mum's behalf though i barely know him...
few days later, we bumped into taiwan's most popular band "Wu Yue Tian"(Mayday)'s autograph session and we could only stand and snap photos of them from far but it was enough to prove their presence there... soon after, we swept some of the native produce like SUN biscuit(Tai Yang Bing) and BUTTERMILK biscuit(Nai You Su) and went home happily with everything...

today is the 4th day since my return from taiwan and i've yet to tried the wonderful food i've brought back, but i'll share it with my bunk-mates when i get back and i'll show them how nice taiwan was and how much i enjoyed the trip...

alright, think i betta go to sleep now, still gotta go for motorbike lessons later in the morning....ciaoz~!
