went to remove the stitches for my 2nd wisdom teeth surgery on fri... now i've got 2 holes at each corner of my jaw and gotta flush the food out after every meal....so troublesome... *sigh*...

saw 3 young girls bringing their younger brother out and taking care of him in the train...reminds me of the familiar siblingly ties i used to have with my fellow older and younger cousins....my eyes were fixed on them all the time till i almost miss my station.... haha...

alighted at tanjong pagar mrt... followed the signs leading to the adidas office in springleaf tower... i think my presence shocked the employees there pretty much...haha....they probably weren't expecting that a guy would walk in suddenly to ask for a product which they're not familiar with....anyway they were kind enough to help me do a lookout for it and would contact me if they find it...

went to oub centre to visit my mum's newly revamped shop...it's really a much much different look than before... this oct is gonna be the 20th anniversary of the shop.... hard to believe that my parents are able to maintain the shop there(in CBD area) for 20 long yrs.... it's actually not just my parent's efforts....considering that this is a family business, it includes all my family members' heart and soul... of course....mine too! haha...
a very large bulk of my childhood memories were of those times when i helped out at the shop....i can still recall vividly that i started out folding the boxes used to hold the cakes, then slowly rosing up the ranks to being a cashier, then to factory to help produce tasty cakes.... the satisfaction of eating the first curry puff i made still lingers in my mind...

slept very very VERY late this morning...around 6am i think....thus i was also VERY late for the steamboat meeting with my fellow medic frenz at bugis...it was chan's treat for the food, we just paid for the drinks(a steamboat buffet with no free flow of drinks really suck big time)...
anyway...the food was generally okay except that many of us couldn't take the MA LA part...it was just too much...so much that none of us left without a bloated stomach...
garrick soon left after taking some photos and the rest of us proceeded to the macdonald for milkshake and ice cream!! hee~ the banana milkshake was pleasantly okay, but i'll still stick to my chocolate milkshake!! *yum yum* feeling like having some now... haha...

anyway i think i'm gonna go to my grandma hse FIRST THING in the morning tmr....miss the breakfast she prepares/buys from block 85 market... those half-cooked eggs....lipton tea with milk... wholemeal bread with kaya and margarine!!! OMG~ i can't wait!! haha...
i know such things are pretty easy to come by... what i really want is to relive the atmosphere of being pampered by my grandparents....so nice....aw.....
ok, i think i should go and sleep now and wait for tonight to pass by quickly!! hee~

ciaoz~

National Day

phew~ happy birthday Singapore.....it's the 41st birthday already..... reminds me of the ndp carnival my unit participated in last yr... i was still a newbie and was often bossed around to do stuffs....this time round, we did not do anything....partly becos my unit wasn't involved in anything.....but they will be the theme of next yr's NDP....

the fireworks was great....seen it on tv... had to say it's a pity i couldn't enjoy the atmosphere there, but i am glad that i stayed home, away from the crowd, the jam, the stampede....haha..

anyway, still felt very good to have seen the performances....cos by this time next yr, and probably the yr after, i would not have the chance to see it LIVE... i'm probably just gonna draw a singapore flag and hung it somewhere on the wall of my room and sing the national anthem! haha.....well...actually...there's always the singapore embassy! haha....

once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE.....
just one more event to go before i can countdown to my ord....i'm SO looking forward to it....
The Army Half Marathon....

bad spell...

been out-of-luck for these couple of days...i wonder why.... so many incidents happened to me... first... the MP raided my unit and copied down our names even though i told them that i had already clarified the mp3 issue and that my ipod is among those mentioned by my RSM that it is acceptable to be used in camp(mp3 players without the convenient usb plug).
Next day, i was being told to do a medical cover which was not listed in the training programme(which means it is a last min medic indentment and my immediate superiors should be consulted and agreed first).... i was pretty reluctant at first becos i need to leave early but after being told that it is not an official cover but just to be present there to take care of the trainees and that the training would end early, i relented... what i did not expect is to walk into a trap which i almost couldn't escape if not for another fellow medic's help in taking over from me.... i'm pretty frustrated over that matter but since i'm just a small fry, i can't make a big fuss over it....
anyway...my troubles were not to end yet....cos while i was driving my mum in the crowded CBD area, i grazed the bumpers of 2 cars in the space of 5 mins which eventually cost me my whole month's pay.... so damn frustrated about it that i've convinced myself not to drive for the time being...

think i should just stay at home these couple of days to see if things turn for the better.... haiz..
